حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا أبو داود أنبأنا شعبة عن سماک بن حرب قال سمعت عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن مسعود يحدث عن أبيه قال سمعت النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم يقول نضر الله امرأ سمع منا شيا فبلغه کما سمع فرب مبلغ أوعی من سامع قال أبو عيسی هذا حديث حسن صحيح

 محمود بن غیلان، ابوداؤد، شعبة، سماک بن حرب، عبدالرحمن بن حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص کے چہرے کو تروتازہ رکھے (یعنی اسے خوش رکھے) جس نے ہم سے کوئی چیز (بات) سنی اور پھر بالکل اسی طرح دوسروں تک پہنچا دی جس طرح سنی تھی۔ اس لیے کہ بہت سے ایسے لوگ جنہیں حدیث پہنچے گی وہ سننے والے سے زیادہ سمجھ اور علم رکھتے ہوں گے۔ یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔

Sayyidina Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA)  ported that he heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) say "May Allah keep his face fresh (and radiant) who hears something from me and then conveys it exactly as he had heard it. Perhaps, many a one who receives it is more intelligent and knowledgeable than the listener."

Jame Tirmizi, Volume 2, Hadith 566

حدثنا محمد بن بشار ومحمد بن الوليد قالا حدثنا محمد ابن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن سماک عن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله عن أبيه عن النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم قال نضر الله امرأ سمع منا حديثا فبلغه فرب مبلغ أحفظ من سامع

 محمد بن بشار، محمد بن ولید، محمد بن جعفر، شعبہ، سماک، عبدالرحمن بن عبد اللہ، حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ خوش وخرم رکھیں اس شخص کو جو ہم سے بات سن کر آگے پہنچائے کیونکہ بہت سے حدیث پہنچانے والے ، سننے والے سے بھی زیادہ یاد رکھنے والے ہوتے ہیں ۔

  'AbdurRahman bin 'Abdullâ p.b.u.h narrated from his father that the Prophet said: "May Allah cause his face to shine, the man who hears a Hadith from us and conveys it, for perhaps the one to whom it is conveyed may remember it better than the one who (first) hears it"
