حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا أبي عن محمد بن إسحق عن عبد السلام عن الزهري عن محمد بن جبير بن مطعم عن أبيه قال قام رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم بالخيف من منی فقال نضر الله امرأ سمع مقالتي فبلغها فرب حامل فقه غير فقيه ورب حامل فقه إلی من هو أفقه منه ثلاث لا يغل عليهن قلب مؤمن إخلاص العمل لله والنصيحة لولاة المسلمين ولزوم جماعتهم فإن دعوتهم تحيط من وراهم

محمد بن عبداللہ بن نمیر، محمد بن اسحاق ، عبدالسلام، زہری، محمد بن جبیر بن مطعم، حضرت جبیر بن مطعم فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم منی میں مسجد خیف میں کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص کو خوش وخرم رکھیں جو میری بات سنے پھر آگے پہنچا دے کیونکہ بہت سے فقہ کی بات سننے والے خود سمجھنے والے نہیں ہوتے اور بہت سے فقہ کی بات ایسے شخص تک پہنچادیتے ہیں جو اس (پہنچانے والے) سے زیادہ فقیہ اور سمجھدار ہوتا ہے تین چیزیں ایسی ہیں جن میں مومن کا دل خیانت (کوتاہی) نہیں کرتا اعمال صرف اللہ کے لئے کرنا مسلمان حکام کی خیر خواہی اور مسلمانوں کی جماعت کا ہمیشہ ساتھ دینا کیونکہ مسلمانوں کی دعا پیچھے سے بھی انہیں گھیر لیتی ہے (اور شیطان کسی بھی طرف سے حملہ آور نہیں ہوسکتا) ۔
It was narrated from Muhammad bin Jubair bin Mut'im that his father said: "The Messenger of Allah stood up in Khaif in Mina, and said: 'May Allah make his face shine, the man who hears my words and conveys them. It may be that the bearer of knowledge does not understand it, and it may be that he takes it to one who will understand it more than he does. There are three things in which the heart of the believer does not betray: sincerity of action for the sake of Allah, offering sincere advice to the rulers of the Muslims, and adhering to the Jama'ah: (main body of the Muslims). Their supplication is answered (i.e. encompassing every good, and all of the people)."

حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا أبو داود أنبأنا شعبة عن سماک بن حرب قال سمعت عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن مسعود يحدث عن أبيه قال سمعت النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم يقول نضر الله امرأ سمع منا شيا فبلغه کما سمع فرب مبلغ أوعی من سامع قال أبو عيسی هذا حديث حسن صحيح

محمود بن غیلان، ابوداؤد، شعبة، سماک بن حرب، عبدالرحمن بن حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے سنا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس شخص کے چہرے کو تروتازہ رکھے (یعنی اسے خوش رکھے) جس نے ہم سے کوئی چیز (بات) سنی اور پھر بالکل اسی طرح دوسروں تک پہنچا دی جس طرح سنی تھی۔ اس لیے کہ بہت سے ایسے لوگ جنہیں حدیث پہنچے گی وہ سننے والے سے زیادہ سمجھ اور علم رکھتے ہوں گے۔ یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے۔
Sayyidina Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (RA) ported that he heard Allah's Messenger (SAW) say "May Allah keep his face fresh (and radiant) who hears something from me and then conveys it exactly as he had heard it. Perhaps, many a one who receives it is more intelligent and knowledgeable than the listener."
