حدثنا الحسن بن علي الحلواني حدثنا أبو أسامة حدثنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر عن سعيد المقبري عن عطا مولی أبي أحمد عن أبي هريرة قال بعث رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم بعثا وهم ذو عدد فاستقرأهم فاستقرأ کل رجل منهم ما معه من القرآن فأتی علی رجل منهم من أحدثهم سنا فقال ما معک يا فلان قال معي کذا وکذا وسورة البقرة قال أمعک سورة البقرة فقال نعم قال فاذهب فأنت أميرهم فقال رجل من أشرافهم والله يا رسول الله ما منعني أن أتعلم سورة البقرة إلا خشية ألا أقوم بها فقال رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم تعلموا القرآن واقروه فإن مثل القرآن لمن تعلمه فقرأه وقام به کمثل جراب محشو مسکا يفوح ريحه في کل مکان ومثل من تعلمه فيرقد وهو في جوفه کمثل جراب وک علی مسک قال أبو عيسی هذا حديث حسن وقد رواه الليث بن سعد عن سعيد المقبري عن عطا مولی أبي أحمد عن النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم مرسلا ولم يذکر فيه عن أبي هريرة حدثنا قتيبة عن الليث فذکره

 حسن بن علی خلال، ابواسامة، عبدالحمید بن جعفر، سعید مقبری، عطاء مولی ابی احمد، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ایک مرتبہ ایک لشکر روانہ کیا۔ اس میں گنتی کے لوگ تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان سے قرآن پڑھنے کو کہا جسے جو یاد تھا پڑھا پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ان میں سے ایک کمسن (چھوٹی عمر والے شخص) کے پاس تشریف لائے اور فرمایا تمہیں کتنا قرآن یاد ہے۔ اس نے کہا کہ مجھے فلاں فلاں سورت اور سورت بقرہ یاد ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے پوچھا تمہیں سورت بقرہ یاد ہے۔ اس نے عرض کیا جی ہاں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا تو پھر جاؤ تم ان کے امیر ہو۔ چنانچہ ان کے معززین میں سے ایک شخص نے کہا اللہ کی قسم میں نے سورت بقرہ محض اس لیے نہیں سیکھی کہ میں اس کے ساتھ (نماز میں) کھڑا نہ ہو سکوں گا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا۔ قرآن سیکھو اور پڑھو اس لیے کہ جس نے قرآن کو سیکھا اور پھر اسے تہجد وغیرہ میں پڑھا اس کی مثال ایک مشک سے بھری ہوئی تھیلی کی سی ہے کہ اس کے خوشبو ہر جگہ پھیلتی رہتی ہے اور جس نے اسے یاد کیا اور پھر سو گیا تو وہ اس کے دل میں محفوظ ہے جیسے مشک کی تھیلی کو باندھ کر رکھ دیا گیا ہو۔ یہ حدیث حسن ہے اسے مقبری بھی ابواحمد کے مولی عطاء سے اور وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے اسی کی مانند مرسلا نقل کرتے ہیں۔ قتیبہ اسے لیث بن سعد سے وہ سعید مقبری سے وہ عطاء سے اور وہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے اسی کے ہم معنی مرسلا نقل کرتے ہوئے ابوہریرہ کا ذکر نہیں کرتے۔ اس باب میں حضرت ابی بن کعب سے بھی روایت ہے۔

 Sayyidina Abu Huraira (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (SAW) sent a small army and they were a countable number. He got them to recite the Qur'an and each man of them recited whatever he had of the Qur'an (in memory). He came to a man among them, the youngest of them in years and asked him, 'What do you have of the Qur'an with you, O so-and-so?" He said, "I have this and that and surah al-Baqarah." He asked him "Oh, do you have surah al-Baqarah?" He said, 'Yes.' The Prophet (SAW) said, "Go. You are their amir." Then a man of the nobles among them remaked, "By Allah, nothing prevented me from learning al-Baqarah but that I was apprehensive that I might not be able to recite it in salah (in tahajjud)." Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "Learn the Qur'an and recite it. The example of the Qur'an for one who learns it, recites it and stands in salah with it is like a bag full of musk, its fragrance spreading in every corner. And the example of one who learns it but goes to sleep while it is in his heart is like a bag of musk tied close (at its mouth)."

حدثنا عمرو بن عبد الله الأودي حدثنا أبو أسامة عن عبد الحميد بن جعفر عن المقبري عن عطا مولی أبي أحمد عن أبي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم تعلموا القرآن واقروه وارقدوا فإن مثل القرآن ومن تعلمه فقام به کمثل جراب محشو مسکا يفوح ريحه کل مکان ومثل من تعلمه فرقد وهو في جوفه کمثل جراب أوکي علی مسک

 عمرو بن عبداللہ اودی، ابواسامہ، عبدالحمید بن جعفر، مقبری، عطاء مولی ابی احمد، ابواحمد، حضرت ابوہریرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا قرآن سیکھو اور اس کو پڑھو اور سو جاؤ (یعنی تمام رات نہ جاگو) اس لیے کہ قرآن کی مثال اور اس شخص کی مثال جس نے قرآن سیکھا پھر اس کو رات میں پڑھا اس تھیلی کی سی ہے جو کستوری سے بھری ہو۔ جس کی مہک ہر سو پھیل رہی ہو اور اس شخص کی مثال جس نے قرآن سیکھا اور سینے پر رکھ کر سو رہا اس تھیلی کی سی ہے جس کو کستوری سے بھر کر اوپر سے باندھ دیا گیا ہو۔

  It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H  said: 'Learn the Qur'ân, recite it and go to bed, for the eness of the Qur'an and the one 'ho learns it and acts upon it is of a sack filled with musk, hich spreads its fragrance everywhere. And the likeness of one who learns it then goes to bed with it in his heart is that of a sack that is tied up from which no fragrance comes out." (Hasan)

"Say: we believe in God and in what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham, Isma'il: Isaac, Jacob and The Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no distinction between one and another, among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)." (Qur'an, Al-Imran 3:84)

"And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones.And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." [Qur'an, AL-MUMENOON 023.097-98]

"O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed)." [Qur'an, Al-Tauba,009.119]
