حدثنا أحمد بن محمد أخبرنا ابن المبارک عن أبي بکر النهشلي عن مرزوق أبي بکر التيمي عن أم الدردا عن أبي الدردا عن النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم قال من رد عن عرض أخيه رد الله عن وجهه النار يوم القيامة قال وفي الباب عن أسما بنت يزيد قال أبو عيسی هذا حديث حسن

 احمد بن محمد، عبد اللہ، ابوبکر، نہشلی، مرزوق ابوبکر تیمی، ام درداء، حضرت ابی درداء سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا جو شخص اپنے بھائی کی عزت سے اس چیز کو دور کرے گا جو اسے عیب دار کرتی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن اس کے منہ سے دوزخ کی آگ دور کر دے گا۔ اس باب میں حضرت اسماء بنت یزید سے بھی حدیث منقول ہے یہ حدیث حسن ہے۔

Sayyidina Abu Darda (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said, "If anyone removes blame) from the honour of his brother then Allah will remove from his face the fire on the day of resurrection.
