حدثنا محمد بن يحيی حدثنا عبد الرزاق أنبأنا معمر عن عاصم بن أبي النجود عن زر بن حبيش قال أتيت صفوان بن عسال المرادي فقال ما جا بک قلت أنبط العلم قال فإني سمعت رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم يقول ما من خارج خرج من بيته في طلب العلم إلا وضعت له الملاکة أجنحتها رضا بما يصنع

 محمد بن یحییٰ، عبدالرزاق، معمر، عاصم بن ابی نجود، حضرت زر بن حبیش فرماتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت صفوان بن عسال مرادی کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو۔ فرمایا کیسے آئے؟ عرض کیا علم حاصل کرنے کے لیے فرمایا میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے سنا جو شخص بھی (دینی) علم کی طلب میں اپنے گھر سے نکلے فرشتے اس کے عمل کو پسند کرنے کی وجہ سے اس کے لیے پر پھیلا لیتے ہیں ۔

 It was narrated that Zirr bin Hubaish said: "I went to Safwân bin 'Assâl Al-Murâdi and he said: 'What brought you here?' I said: 'I am seeking knowledge.' He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: "There is no one who goes out of his house in order to seek knowledge, but the angels lower eir wings in approval of his tion." (Hasan)
