Narrated Abu Huraira:Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"Sahih Muslim, jild 1, Hadith 1087Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Allah descends to the lowest heaven at half of the night or at one-third of the latter part and says: Who is there to supplicate Me so that I answer him? Who is there to ask Me so that I grant him? And then says: Who will lend to One Who is neither indigent nor tyrant? (This hadith has been narrated by Sa'd b. Sa'id with the same chain of transmitters with this addition:" Then the Blessed and the Exalted (Lord) stretches His Hands and says: Who will lend to One Who is neither indigent nor tyrant? )Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah reported that Allah's Messenger said, "Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, comes down every night to the heaven of the earth when e first third of the night has passed away. He says:I am the King. Who is it that will pray to Me that I may answer him? Who is it that will seek from Me that I may grant him? Who is it that will ask for My forgiveness that I may forgive him? This ceases not till the brightness of dawn."Jame Tirmizi, jild 1, Hadith 433It was narrated that Rifa'ah Al-Juhani said: "The Messenger of Allah said:' Allah provides Respite until, when half or two thirds of the night has passed. He says:"My slave does not ask of anyone other than Me. Whoever calls upon Me, I will answer him;whoever asks of Me, I will give him; whoever asks my forgiveness, I will forgive him," until dawn comes".
