حدثنا حبان بن موسیٰ أخبرنا عبد الله عن يونس عن الزهري عن حميد بن عبد الرحمن أنه سمع معاوية يقول قال رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم من يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين والله المعطي وأنا القاسم ولا تزال هذه الأمة ظاهرين علی من خالفهم حتی يأتي أمر الله وهم ظاهرون

حبان عبداللہ یونس زہری حمید بن عبدالرحمن رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ حضرت معاویہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ جس کے ساتھ بھلائی کرنا چاہتا ہے تو اس کو دین کی سمجھ بوجھ عنایت فرما دیتا ہے اور اللہ تعالیٰ ہی دینے والا ہے اور میں تقسیم کرنے والا ہوں اور یہ امت ہمیشہ مخالفین پر غالب رہے گی اور قیامت آنے تک غالب رہے گی۔
Narrated Muawiya:
Allah's Apostle said, "If Allah wants to do good for somebody, he makes him comprehend the Religion (i.e. Islam), and Allah is the Giver and I am Al-Qasim (i.e. the distributor), and this (Muslim) nation will remain victorious over their opponents, till Allah's Order comes and they will still be victorious "
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Neither do I give you (anything) nor withhold (anything) from you, but I am just a distributor (i.e. Qasim), and I give as I am ordered."
Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith No. 366
و حدثني إسحق بن منصور أخبرنا کثير بن هشام حدثنا جعفر وهو ابن برقان حدثنا يزيد بن الأصم قال سمعت معاوية بن أبي سفيان ذکر حديثا رواه عن النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم لم أسمعه روی عن النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم علی منبره حديثا غيره قال قال رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم من يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين ولا تزال عصابة من المسلمين يقاتلون علی الحق ظاهرين علی من ناوأهم إلی يوم القيامة

اسحاق بن منصور، کثیر بن ہشام، جعفر ابن برقان، یزید بن اصم، معاویہ بن ابی سفیان، حضرت یزید بن اصم رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بن ابوسفیاں سے ایک حدیث سنی جسے انہوں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یہ حدیث منبر پر روایت کرتے نہیں سنا نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ جس کے ساتھ بھلائی کا ارادہ فرماتا ہے تو اسے دین میں سمجھ عطا کرتا ہے اور مسلمانوں میں سے ایک جماعت ہمیشہ حق بات پر جہاد کرتی رہے گی اور اپنے مخالفین پر قیامت تک غالب رہے گی۔
It has been related by, Yazid b. al-Asamm that he heard Mu'awiya b. Abu Sfyan quote a tradition from the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) which he related from the Prophet (mail peace be upon him) -and he did not hear him quote from the Holy Prophet (masy peace be upon him) any tradition other than this in the course of his sermon from the pulpit-that whom Allah wants to do a favour, He grants him an understanding of religion. A group of people from the Muslims will remain on the Right Path and continue until the Day of Judgment to triumph over those who oppose them.
Sahih Muslim, Volume 3, Hadith 459
حدثنا هشام بن عمار حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم حدثنا مروان بن جناح عن يونس بن ميسرة بن حلبس أنه حدثه قال سمعت معاوية بن أبي سفيان يحدث عن رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم أنه قال الخير عادة والشر لجاجة ومن يرد الله به خيرا يفقهه في الدين

ہشام بن عمار، ولید بن مسلم مروان بن جناح، یونس بن میسرة بن حلبس، حضرت معاویہ بن ابی سفیان سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا بھلائی عادت ہے اور شر کسی مجبور سے ہوتا ہے اور جس کے ساتھ اللہ تعالیٰ بھلائی کا ارادہ فرمائیں اسے دینی بصیرت عطا فرما دیتے ہیں ۔
It was narrated that Yunus bin Maisarah bin Halbas said: "I heard Mu'awiyah bin Abu Sufyn narrating that the Messenger of Allah P.B.U.H said: 'Goodness is a (natural) habit while evil is a stubbornness (constant prodding from Satan). When Allah wills good for a person, He causes him to understand there ligion.'. (Hasan)

{Invite (mankind, O Muhammad ) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. with the Divine Inspiration and the Qur'an) and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.} (Holy Quran-16:125)
{And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."} (Holy Quran-41:33)
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Allah, if Allah guides one person by you, it is better for you than the best types of camels." [al-Bukhaaree, Muslim]
The prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said, "Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all." [Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]
